As a measurement technician in the industry, you will work with precision measurements and control processes in a production environment to ensure that components and products meet requirements for dimensions, tolerances, and quality. The role includes both practical measurement work on the shop floor and collaboration with production, quality department, and management to drive improvements and maintain documentation according to current procedures.

You are responsible for performing measurements, calibrations, and inspections based on drawings and measurement instructions. The work requires accuracy, technical understanding, and the ability to document and communicate deviations.

• Perform dimensional checks with hand-held measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and machine measuring instruments (CMM, measuring arm) according to work orders

• Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments and ensure that the equipment is traceable and in good condition

• Interpret drawings and technical specifications to ensure correct measurement methods

• Document measurement data and report deviations to production and quality managers

• Participate in quality reviews, improvement projects, and follow up on corrective actions as needed

• Contribute to the development and standardization of measurement procedures and work instructions

• Follow the company's routines for work environment, safety, and quality

• Experience in measurement technology within industry or production is an advantage

• Knowledge of and experience using measuring instruments such as CMM, measuring arm, calipers, and micrometers

• Understanding of reading drawings, tolerances, and geometric specifications

• Experience with measurement software or data collection systems is an advantage

• Technical education in measurement technology, production, or equivalent work experience

• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

• Class B driver's license is an advantage

• Detail-oriented and quality-conscious

• Analytical with good problem-solving skills

• Structured and organized in documentation and work execution

• Communicative and cooperative in cross-functional teams

• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

• The position can be full-time or temporary depending on the assignment

• Location: Katrineholm

• Working hours: Daytime or shifts depending on production needs
